Keva Blocks and Blue Bots Maze Challenge
Students worked in groups of 3 or 4 to use measuring tapes, keva blocks, and blue bots to create mazes. They then used library book spines to guide others through their maze, gathering the spines in the correct order!
Helping Harry!
Students worked in groups of 3 or 4 to take a bag full of items (pipe cleaners, index cars, tape, foil, and cupcake liners) to create a perch for Harry. The teams had 5 minutes of planning time, 15 minutes of building time, and 5 minutes to reassess and be sure the perch was safe for Harry. The teamwork and positive reinforcement our students gave each other was overwhelming. Most of the teams successfully created a standing perch structure and even those who did not had a good time trying different things and problem solving.
